Therefore it would help if you described what led you to determine it was “undetected” and provided the full output of the pfSense shell command dmesg. It doesn’t seem to be working. If you do changes to it will you submit patches for the linux version?

Card might be “undetected” because it is not electrically connected to the computer because it is not correctly seated in the slot. As you can see this is indeed the rev C1 hardware with the Realtek chip device ID: I have this card too no problem please show “dmesg” command this my dmesg about this card skc0: CPU supports Enhanced Speedstep, but is not recognized.

A1 uses Marvell 88E chipset B1 uses Marvell 88E chipset Both those should be supported by the sk or msk drivers so perhaps marrvell card is a different chipset. Sign up for a new account in our community.
Thanks a lot, works great in my P4PSE. You know what, sounds silly that I didn’t – and I thought I did disable the onboard NIC – but that seems to have done the trick! I expect it is either dead or not gde530t seated in the slot.
Posted May 2, I saw the D-Link DGET on the hardware compatibility list but managed to pick up a pair of Ts on sale thinking they should work as well. First thing I’d do is check the card to see which chip it’s actually using.
I think pfsense website should find a way to make it stand out on their home page.
