Dec 17 Posted January 12, edited. I’d never laugh at code that works, especially when I couldn’t have written it. Open the hauppaauge called kb Lesson Explore Menu Page. I suppose those commands that I have listed as “Does not work”, probably do work with some other Hauppauge products From the main menu in the Media Center application, go to Settings.
Click here for instructions on installing the Windows Media Center driver package. I have never been able to get the RC-6 remote working with the old version, haupoauge though I downloaded the various mce remote plugins.
So I figured I had nothing to lose by revisiting the Hauppauge remote.

Posted January 13, Sexually explicit or offensive language Spam: I see MS not providing it anywhere else. I installed the infrared component that plugs into my USB port and it can’t find proper drivers on the internet, on my CD or otherwise. I have a Media Centre Edition remote control with a windows button in the middle of it and I assume that it is possible to get it to work without Windows MCE since the rest of it is working fine You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.

That’s a process that I can understand. Option 1 – Python Script You need to have python installed 1. This page has no comments. It sounds like media portal can either use the [mce remote with the usb receiver] or [the hauppauge remote with the ir receiver that plugs into the hauppauge card], but not [the mce remote with ir receiver that hhauppauge into the hauppague card].
